Abstract: INNOVATIVE PRESERVATION OR PROJECT PLANNING DESTRUCTION? CONCERNS FOR PROJECT PLANNING AND THE RECLAMATION OF INDUSTRIAL ARCHITECTURAL SITES The author examines the present attitudes of architectural culture in regards to the interventions to be made in order to reconvert Rome’s early industrial construction works. He takes into consideration the necessity of moving away from sterile intervening intentions by holding greater concern for historical research, without which there can be no effective action that may referred to as architectural restoration.
